Connor Whitney serves as Communications Associate at Ascent. Connor has knowledge and experience in political consulting, corporate communications, social media management, and public relations.

In 2022, Connor worked on Georgia Governor Brian Kemp's re-elect campaign against Stacey Abrams. After the campaign, Connor joined a communications firm in Georgia where he worked with political and corporate clients across the state. Currently, Connor works for Georgians First Leadership Committee – Governor Brian Kemp's political operation – where he helps run day-to-day operations and logistics, and collaborates on political strategy, content creation, and digital marketing.

Connor is a graduate of the University of Georgia and lives in Atlanta, GA. In his free time, you can find him at an Atlanta Braves game, playing pickleball, or trying not to lose on the tennis court.
